    Flaming Lips: Yoshimi vs The Pink Robots: Stage AE

    I finally saw the Flaming Lips, which was a big life goal of mine. They played all of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. Kinda wild that I am old enough that I went to the 20th (really 22nd) anniversary tour for a record Alicia and I were listening to together alot before we got married.

    The show was good, but not great. Not sure if it was the band, the crowd or me, but I didn’t deal like it had the special energy you want in a live show. The visuals were good, but it kinda felt like karaoke. They played it pretty much like the record, and had the words going behind them.

    One thing I love about Stage AE is the view of Pittsburgh and the sunsets.

    I like how this photo turns the blurryness of the photo into bubbles. I took another one that is more in focus and it’s a meh photo, but this I like.
